Essence floods Yudain's body like adrenaline and he uses the opportunity to pounce sideways, the second blow missing him by a solid few inches, the third punching a nice neat hole in the sword but otherwise failing to harm him.]
[Star's sword has barely finished its last blow when his eyes flicker and, suddenly, Yudain's not where Star saw him and the knife-blade is headed in a powerful swing towards his side.]
